Mount Abu is a famous hill station of Aravalli range of mountains in western india located in Rajasthan,the only hill station in Rajasthan.It draws thousands of visitors and tourists every year.It is relief to escape the summer heat and be at Mount Abu.The people of rajasthan and Gujarat visit it mainly to escape the heat of summer.It is located at a height of 1200 metres.Here there are numerous Jain and Dilwara temples and also Hindu temples.Another place to visit is Achalgarh fort built during 14th century.Nakki lake is another attraction.
It has waterfalls,forests,lakes.The highest peak here is Guru Shikhar,1722 metres.It is like an ‘oasis in desert’ and so it is a popular retreat for western indian people.You can also visit Mount Abu wildlife sanctuary.Here you can find many flora and fauna like leopard,wild cat,jackal,wolf,sambhar,etc.
So you can plan to visit it for a 3-4 days in summers.
