Travel Kerela,India
Straight from Indonesia i had once taken flight to natural abode of southern india,Kerela.A flight to mumbai from indonesia and there from train too kerela state and a bit of Tamil nadu.Well,as far as i have been natural lover i have found these both states of great interest in traveling.Cheap and easy digestable food like patented south indian food like idli sambhar,dosa,utthappa’s in morning breakfast,etc were oily and tasty foods with lots of spices and condiments(slang for masalas).Kerela has dense forests and i loved it riding high on elephants and boat services in lakes.
I visited pondicherry.Stayed my luggage in a good hotel.Paid for it and went out with my mini bag.You can have camps too.very cheap of course.The pundits(religious performers) sometimes got behind me.I went to temples first and saw many hindu god’s and goddesses temples.A lot of hazy crowd is there.From there i went to cochin and went to baazar(market) and bouth some native things of it.Beware of cheated or robbed.
Combaitor was good also.A modern city and nice being to different places.Here in india railway line is one of the most wide spread and easy means of travel and most cheap too.ofcourse AC fares are 4 times costlier and sometimes airlines can be best.There are railway stations and numerous daily trains pass through small-big towns.Very complex and large railway line.Roads are also good but avoid comparing them with international standards.Villages are bit rough but southern indian states like Kerela and Tamil nadu are one of the most literally advanced states and roads and communications are very good.Computers at villages and Tamil nadu government provides free electricty to rural villages too.Many places of historical and natural scenery to be seen.
The forest area here is good and you will like kerela and maybe more better Tamil Nadu.

[…] In Kerela,Thekkady is a famous wildlife sanctuary and a beautiful one.Thekkady is spread across a large district and here you can see various animals with close range like elephants,few tigers and langurs,etc.You can do boating in periyar lake(its there only).One famous activity you can do here is bamboo rafting.You can do hiking in jungles and also visit Periyar Wildlife sanctuary.Best time to go is between September till march.After rains,Kerela blossoms and lot of vegetation and greenery to see,lakes full of water and boats racing traditionally,staying in boathouses is than fun accompanied with trekking and camping at nights..Also visit Periyar tiger reserve,very interesting to watch tigers.Nearest airport is Cochin or alternatively railway station is at Kottayam.
