This year 2007 world cup is being held at Caribbean islands or known by general people as West Indies.16 Teams divided into 4 groups are playing at different venues in this whole of caribbean. The islands are different for each groups which you can know by clicking here.
let me give you some basic information of grounds they will be playing at.
Jamaica- sabina park with seating capacity of 21,000 people.
St. Kitts and Nevis- warner park stadium with sitting capacity of 10,000 people.
Antigue & Barbuda- Sir Vivian richards cricket ground with total 20,000 seating capacity including 10,000 permanent.
Sant Lucia-Beausejour cricket stadium. As its hosting semi-finals too the seating capacity is being increased from 12,000 to about 20,000.
St. Vincent & Grenadines- Arnos wale stadium with 12,000 capacity to hold.
Barbados- Kensington oval and has hugest 28,000 seating capacity as its ultimate destination for Finals here.
Grenada-Grenada national stadium with capacity to accommodate 17,000 people.
TT-Queens park oval and has total 17,000 seats.
Guyana- Guyana national park with 16,000 seats for public
