If you are someone who loves wildlife then going o a safari holiday would be best for you. On a safari holiday you get to see all the forest animals which you do not generally get to see, and if you do get to see animals but they are not as close as you can see them at a safari. On a safari holiday you get the real feel of nature and get total interaction with the wildlife and see the different sides of the natural world. All parts of the holiday give you a safari type feeling which is what safari holiday makers look for.
Safari is a well known package,popularly for wildlife in Kenya.Includes going to tanzania.Its an adventurous destination.I wasn’t placed directly to kenya.But via Ethiopia.Flight landed at Adis abbaba.An AC bus took us to kenya.Long trip.They wont make you put your step on roads.You never know when animals like cheetah greet you as visitor!and ya thats true infact.Dusty roads…black people and to be beware.There are thefts and bribes at borders.Bribes are common entries.Thefts if you arent careful.
Kenya gets good tourism from foreign countries soully for safari.Which government has taken care for.The fact is,the more you leave this wildlife undeveloped and untouched,better natural views for tourists.Places like masai mara are very famous.Nairobi has airport,Nairobi is kenya’s capital.Masai mara is a large reserve area,lots of beautiful free roaming wildlife and attraction for tourists.There is regular migration of wild beasts and zebras across country from tanzania and vice-versa.You will see cheetahs,zebras,beasts,lions,snakes,elephants and lots of other animals.You will be in a jeep with your attendance.
Traveling to kenya is romantic and wild too.But you can take whole kenya too instead of just safari.Like visiting Mt. kenya,mombasa,Great rift valley, and even go further if time permits to tanzania.
Traveling has its own way and so i sometime go for thrilling and exciting safari. No one in my mind can beat this African safari which includes Kenya and Republic of Tanzania(In short Tanzania). You can be there by Kenyan Airways for UK or there by South African Airways for sure. You can even take an two flights if you are inconvenient. It depends upon you only. Land at Kenya’s capital Nairobi.
Kenya and Tanzania in my view are both spectacular countries and i suppose both countries one of the main source of revenue is this wonderful Tourism. Its wild and excellent. Black African people merrily traditionally doing there work and dancing their own festivals is all unique Africa.
My trip was fantastic one. First you will see roaring lions and various beasts,animals,etc. and hunters and warrior fighters and can also take the goodness of its pure beach at Mombasa or Zanzibar. I bet you wont regret if you go as all you do is something new out there. There are numerous resorts and safari organization for huge number of tourists coming every year to Kenya and Tanzania and this countries have cooperated in Tourism for this purpose. Its to beat the climatic heat.
At Kenya you have Kenyan shilling and for Tanzania Tanzanian shilling. But US$ are accepted so there you wont have currency problem.You will need to apply for travel visas first and you can obtain it and then be off for it.If you are landing first on tanzania then you will have to pay $30 for going to kenya. Thats the tax you pay. Visas for traveling are cheap at this place.
If you want to watch for wild animals then best time to go is during summers.April-June and a bit of November is rainy season so its best to go in dry season to watch lion kings roaming at distant water sources.Migration is one thing to be noticed for wild beasts and animals migrate from Tanzania to Kenya and vice-versa.
Pack and check your bags with essential things like shoes,hats,binoculars,stick,camera, skin lotion and protective cream if you have a slight burning sensation. Be adventurous like me and enjoy nights at star places.
Traveling at different places you will be greeted by many people of different unknown tribes and class. All mostly backward and rural tribe and many in forest. No problem as people are all aware and you can roam freely wherever you wish. But try not to get in any sort of collusion or fight with any sort of people because they are always more powerful than you are or you think.
Don’t think much like that anything happened will be tomorrows headline. Small incidents like a tourist grabbed by crocodile or killed by some tribe is natural and common occurrence sometimes. Be friendly with this people and enjoy your stay. Dont carry jewelery or gems or something valuable because there are chances of getting lost on safari or stolen.
Hire car from a known dealer of it at a sound place with all your things cleared in mind and be soft spoken. Dont reveal yourself bluntly.
Otherwise this tour has no problems and is fantastic one and rarely someone has any problem. If anything happens report immediately to their local cops. Enjoy it whole heartedly.
Traveling in this raw place of interesting black people and wild nature is difficult at first sight but don’t panic, you can travel by all means to comfort you.
You will be in this part of Tanzania and Kenya and you will surely like to go visiting different places to see all mountains, lakes , beautiful sunsets, and of course the main reason wildlife. You can very well hire a jeep or sumo type car or in short a rough steady hard car which can travel in dusts and steep land and rocks. You will rarely find any heaven luxury car, as this place is not meant for that.
Hire this type of car and travel with your companion to different places in the country. But check out that you are not landing yourself in a danger place because Kenya and Tanzania are full of it if you are ignorant and try to meddle your way yourself too much. If possible hire a good guide with you also carry a map with you to know where you should go and not.
a travel book is a lot of help at some places and quietly enjoy all this. Beware not to be too much stylishly brave or you could be at last moment. Once the warning or restriction is given to you, abide it. Don’t be near too much or wild animals because they can surely harm you in their way.
Carry a good torch at night but to tell you the truth you will never be out in nights because of fear of animals and hidden snakes. Camp your self at a safe place. Avoid too much interaction with animals and people. Be all way legal so you are not in trouble at some foreign place.
Ranthambore is situated in Rajasthan, which is in India. Ranthambore is popular for its national park, which it has, and many people visit the area all through out the year. The place as a whole is quite different form the rest of India. The major plus point is that you will not find any pollution in the area, and it is one of the best places where you can relax and see natural beauty. The whole area is surrounded by beautiful mountains, which you can’t stop looking at. Further down going towards the park you see a whole lot of greenery and it instantly makes you feel happy from inside and makes you want to stay there forever. This is a place defiantly to visit for you on your own or with your whole family.
At capital of Kenya Nairobi you can visit various museums too. The famous leakey family have collected ancient tribal things and historic things related to fossils and is collected from almost of Eastern Africa region. Utamaduni is the place to buy or shop for best handicrafts in Langata.
Try your hands on Zanzibar spicy things which you can smell in advance or from a distance and a lot of bazaars are there in Zanzibar.
Both this countries i found interesting in ancient things. Most early tribal civilizations and occupation is found here among black people living crazy sort of life. Making traditional handicrafts and selling to huge visitors like me was found. You will find many warriors and hunters bravely interacting their normal life with animals. Although its illegal killing any animal but government can reach out every part as usual and its a natural thing too.
Buy good and fancy jewelry. people would dance on occasions freely drinking their type alcohol and merrily and unitedly dancing with their music.
I had also visited Mombasa beach and relaxed on creamy white sands with umbrella covering me up. I took a boat easily available and went round the coast and saw sharks and dolphins and visited Zanzibar. My relative lived here and he was there to greet me and i was overjoyed. I had been cooled on beaches and scenery of small island east to tanzania and saw some spectacular trees and palm olives.
At north of mombasa sea coast you can go specially go if you love diving to Watamu marine park and to Kilifi too. Boats and steamers are available at competitive prices.
Kenya isn’t only flora and fauna but national parks and coral reefs with valleys and water or marine parks. Its interesting to o on national park which is on mountainous scale. So did i by leaving not a spot untraveled by me. At lakes and water sources you will surely find some animal or birds in groups waiting for you. Mombasa and Serengeti will interest kids if you are planning a family trip of this 2 countries.
These countries with wild safari located on east of africa continent are the most preferred countries for traveling and visiting lions and elephants and other huge species of birds and animals. Located side by side and separated by a single boundary are great places of interest.
Here you can side by also visit ancient craters, huge and largely covered grass lands, mountains and huge lakes for animals to drink and roam. You will be fully meddled with vast and beautiful natural scenery.
You can have a short visit to Zanzibar, an island very near to tanzania. Here you will find cloves and many cinnamones all around island. If you feel yourself too weary with all this than you have yourself reserved for mombasa beach where you will be near to whales or shark which you can point out at near offshore. You can swim here in shores like zanzibar too. Zanzibar is a small paradise and you must surely visit it.
Culture here has been diverse like many handicraft works and beautiful things made curiously and found very appreciating or good. You can buy this things from here at cheap prices and a memory is surely stored for this place.
People are friendly with all new upcoming many visitors and are always pleased to show various dances and shows of their locality.
you must have heard of african or kenyan safari in books or saw it on some TV but reality is quite lively here. In its traditional language Swahili safari means nothing but travel or journey and this is true at every angle with romance,adventure and thrills.
You can go to Amboseli National park at mount kilimanjaro in kenya to see huge herds of animals and a lot of population of elephants. Kenyas one of the famous place is masai-mara and at this place you will locate many lions,elephants,hippos,rhinos,buffalo and leopard and other small animals too. So you can imagine how masai mara is famous all over world.

I visited a huge lake Niavasha which abodes home to more than 300 species of birds which you can go easily.
On the other side of Kenya, tanzania you can visit serengeti to find wildbeest,zebras and other species animals in abundance.
