Hi!,

This was my first trip to Europe and i had a very romantic and pleasant time almost except its chilly weather in Northern states.I would like to share my Experience with all of you.

we were in a group of 3 traveling all the way to europe. Let me tell you I am an Indian Native and we had our flights off from Mumbai in British Airways to Cape town as for our business purpose and had a stay of around 4-5 days and then we were off finally for Europe Tour and had our first step at portugal. We had duly acquired our Visas and legality process.

We landed at Faro and had our rest. We went for sight seeing..the best i must say at Europe. Its landscape is just unimaginable. The hilly side all way and people attracted us. Faro i must say is a good city with all modern amenities provided. We visited country side and saw places like Braga and catalo branco. Euro i think is the currency out there. The rates i say are very bad indeed. We had some Red wine(popular out there) with us so stayed cool. Why cool? Its freezing sometimes. Its even less than 20 degree somedays.

This country which is sorrounded by sea all side is very popular for golfs so me and my mates had our hands on sticks. Then we had soups and its delicious fish curries. Plenty i must say. Then we went to Its capital Lisbon. truly lisbon with my mates. We did a bit of gambling and stayed a night and then went off to france by Air France.

We were eager to get to france as it hold to my memory a wonderful country with its unique place and importance in European nations. We landed at orleans.Francs and Euro were its currency. However currency wasn’t a problem to us. This place was renowned for its cheese and wines- specially gastronomy. we took a ride to local train and saw a beautiful scenery out there in midst of moderate atmosphere. Its generally hot at Mediterranean. It has TGV trains for fast access to long destinations but we preferred cheap airlines locally working. We had booked our tickets from Portugal itself for hotel. our tour guide had given caution how to address these French as they rarely interact much with strangers.

We saw Effiel tower. Its huge and i must truly an artistic creational end. Hotels and restaurants were there at each level accessible by elevators. We went upto 7th floor , but my mates refused further and we had to stop back. Ate some gastronomical delights like cheese and had a bit of fine vodka and Rum.

We had got our flights booked to Air Lufthansa and we were back home India. My actual business trip turned to a pure one to Portugal and France. I intend to visit Belgium and covering all way to Switzerland for a grand tour.
